Lumber Thickness Guide
Hardwood is sold in "quarters" - quarter inches of rough thickness:
- 4/4 (1") - Table tops after milling to 3/4"
- 5/4 (1.25") - Thick table tops, breadboard ends
- 6/4 (1.5") - Table legs after milling
- 8/4 (2") - Heavy legs, thick tops
